virupaksha cave 

it is cave where shri ramana maharishi lived for a long period of 17 years

name came from virupaksha devar great shiva yogi who lived at a time of guhai namah shivaya 

his body became vibhuti and it is kept for pooja in tiruvannamalai 

 

yesterday was an super cool day
went to mylapore
place which is famous for temples music and of course food

first we went to mundakanni amman temple
old temple dedicated to godesses saraswati which is beautifully maintained
worshipped devi and then we proceeded to madhavaperumal temple


madhava perumal temple
it is old temple of lord vishnu with consorts sri and bhudevi
separate sannnidhi for andal and lakshmi and bhu varahar
then this is also birth place of peyalzvar

we went to century old veerabhadra swamy koil situated near madhava perumal koil

then we proceeded to famous kapaleeshwarar koil
im always excited to visit these temples

food

mylapore we first went to kalathy rose milk shop
it was estabished in 1927
taste here is delicious than other rose milk shops
i say it is most tasty rose milk in the world

 then having pakodas in karpagambal sweet stall is sure the best way to have a chit chat

rayars mess    
it is famous for cofee and crispy vadas

finally karpagambal mess which is super quality in south indian dishes

My visit on isha

i have visited isha some time back it was a wonderful experience
isha is situated in foothills of velliangiri mountains
vellliangiri mountain is abode of mystics and sages from centuries
situated in lush green environment isha . i liked it very much.it is abode of yoga
u can learn yoga there .it is non religious temple
everyone can come and meditate


after  getting refreshed in suryakund we went to linga bhairavi temple
it was a great experience she is very fierce and intense goddesses
she is very intense that u expewrience her graze as soon as u enter the temple

next is dhyanalinga
first u will see large idol of nandi the bull (vechile of shiva)
it is unique linga made for meditation and temple was beautifully made
u can find a tall statue of patanjali the father of yoga before entering into temple
u also can see the six scultpures of various devotees and yogis

dhyanalinga is tall linga with all 7 chakras energized
u can just simply sit there .u will feel amazingly
it is vey nicely designed

food in isha is very nice
it is delicious healthy high nutrional value
we had a very nice tasty food in isha

u also can see large statue of adi yogi in adi yogi aaalayam
mahashivaratri festival is largely celebrated in isha every year
next year shivaratri comes in march 7 2016
